KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has activated its operation room for the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat by-election in Selangor today.
MACC, in a statement today, said the operation room located in Section 16, Shah Alam, is open 24 hours a day until polling day on May 11.
This is to enable the public to share information and file complaints regarding acts of corruption and abuse of power occurring during the campaign period.
"In addition, members of the public can also lodge any corruption and abuse of power complaints via email to prk2024_sel@sprm.gov.my or by calling 03-5524 8318 or 03-5525 6500," the statement said.
The commission also reminded all candidates as well as political parties contesting in the by-election to refrain from carrying out any activities that could violate laws and election regulations, as stipulated under the MACC Act and the Election Offences Act.
