KUALA LUMPUR: A video featuring a young boy singing a popular Malay rock ballad' Bunga Angkasa' from the 90s at an Indian wedding has left netizens in awe.
The video, shared by a TikTok user with the handle @burnpazzword, captures the boy's remarkable vocal talent, recognising his success in performing the rock band Terra Rossa's challenging chorus.
In the video, the young boy, presumably of Indian descent, stood on a stage singing the song while a cameraman moved behind him to capture other happenings at the wedding.
Social media users have expressed how impressed they were with his ability to perform a heartfelt song in the Malay language.
The video has since garnered almost one million views, 92,200 likes and 10,500 shares on TikTok.
However, the video also raised questions among some viewers, who pointed out that a green screen could be used in the video.
They also suggested that the footage of the boy singing might have been shot separately and was superimposed against the backdrop of an Indian wedding.
Nevertheless, some viewers remained unconvinced and insisted that the video appeared authentic and original.
