#NSTviral: Little boy recites verses from the Quran while undergoing surgery without anaesthesia [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a young Palestinian boy from Gaza, bravely reciting verses from the the Quran to endure the pain of surgery without anaesthesia has left leaving viewers in awe by the remarkable strength of the boy's faith (iman) and determination in his religion.

The 40-second clip has been played over 25,800 times since it was posted less than 24 hours ago by devoutedmuslim's Instagram account.

In the video, the doctor was seen carefully operating on the boy's injured leg, ensuring minimal pain and discomfort throughout the procedure.

At the same time, while holding back tears, the brave boy can be seen reciting the 23rd verse of a surah (chapters in the Quran) named 'Al-Isra' that explains how one should treat one's parents.

The verse from the Quran says "For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honour your parents.

"If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them even 'ugh,' nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully."

Viewers all over the world were deeply moved by the depth of the boy's religious devotion despite experiencing so much unbearable pain from the Israeli air strike.

Instagram user @shabina0201 commented on the video saying "These are the lions of islam. Brave, full of iman (faith) at such a tender age, putting the world to shame. May Allah ta'ala grant him ease and speedy recovery."

Another user @iamccthe1 said "Ya Allah please ease this brave baby's pain and bless him to recover. We love you little one."

Meanwhile, user @sitarakanwal prayed that the boy's pain would be eased by God.

"May Allah ease your pain and suffering and replace this with His mercy and bless you and all ummah abundantly Ameen,"
