KUALA LUMPUR: A video featuring a compassionate Malay woman feeding a hungry stray dog is receiving widespread praise.
The 31-second video, shared by TikTok user Eiza Laila on her account @_eizalaila, showcased her act of kindness at a food outlet in Batu Kawan, Penang.
In the footage, Eiza was seen ordering a piece of fried chicken and then generously offering it to a nearby white dog.
The dog, appreciative of the gesture, sniffed the food before retreating to a quiet corner to savour the meal.
Eiza, in the caption, described the dog as well-behaved.
"Such a good dog. He came near me looking glum, but when I told him to sit, he sat. He patiently waited for the chicken I ordered for him," she wrote.
