KUALA LUMPUR: The compassionate act of a Rapid Penang bus driver helping a person with disabilities (PWD) to safely cross the road while on duty won the hearts and minds of netizens.
In a video shared on Facebook by Penang Indian Networks, the driver can be seen assisting the PWD in getting off the bus and crossing the road.
Cecelia, a fellow passenger, witnessed this touching scene and took to Facebook to express her gratitude to the bus driver for his exemplary conduct.
"I want to express my appreciation to the captain of the bus driver, Mr Surendran, for his professionalism in handling his responsibilities.
"His commitment to delivering the best service possible is truly praiseworthy.
"I want to express my gratitude for his great efforts in keeping passengers safe and secure.
"Capten, your dedication to defensive driving is highly appreciated," she said in the caption.
The video has garnered attention, accumulating over 102,000 views and 4,900 likes, with netizens praising the driver's kindness in the comments section.
