Other words such as "Murtabak" now read as "Martabak," "Bazaar" as "Bazar," "Kuetiow" as "Kuetiau," and "Briyani" as "Beriani."These changes stirred varied reactions, with some expressing gratitude to DBP for clearing up confusion, while others sought clarification on the official spellings of additional words.

Opinions on the changes were split, with some suggesting adopting "Ramadon/Ramadhon" as Indonesians do, while others were selective in accepting the new spellings."I'll accept all except 'Ramadhan,'" remarked one netizen.

Another humorously stated, "Sorry, I don't agree with some of them and will continue to use the incorrect spellings."
