KUALA LUMPUR: A TikTok user recently shared his experience with an individual distributing small flyers that promote gambling and unlicensed money lending services, known locally as 'Ah Long' at a Ramadan bazaar.
User @ezzuchang claimed that he confronted the man upon first noticing him handing out the flyers, advising him against such actions.
"Yet, he remained stubborn and continued to distribute them to the stall owners. So, I made a video to prompt action from the authorities," he explained in his post.
Ezzu Chang, who is also a vendor at the bazaar, approached the man once more, after which the individual was seen leaving the area.
"Many Malays are currently facing economic hardships. However, I hope they will avoid falling into these traps. Life becomes significantly harder once you're caught in one.
"Let's stay vigilant," he cautioned.
In the comment section, his action received praise from netizens.
