ALOR GAJAH: Puteri Umno will adopt measures proposed at the special Barisan Nasional (BN) supreme council meeting tonight to strengthen machinery before the next election.
Puteri Umno chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said it was expected that BN would outline a better way for all component parties to mobilise their machinery.
"I will attend the meeting tonight and hope to see a machinery set-up which can ensure a bigger victory in the election.
"We are ready to move our machineries with our peers from BN component parties.
“We will soon hold a meeting with other BN members to improve our machinery," she told a press conference after visiting Melaka Matriculation College in Masjid Tanah here.
Mas Ermieyati said under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's leadership, there were various meetings, trainings and programmes to strengthen ties among BN members.
"I believe tonight's meeting will boost our commitment to ensure victory in the election," she said.
The special BN meeting is expected to be called by 9pm today at the Putra World Trade Centre, in Kuala Lumpur.
