Christina Liew remains as Sabah PKR chief

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Christina Liew, who retains her position as Sabah Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) chairman, has called on its members to develop and strengthen the party.

She added that it was time to focus on both agenda and put behind past party elections.

Liew said a meeting would be called to discuss the line-up for the state PKR leadership and how to move together as team.

“I humbly thank the support given to me from all party members and also to the president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for entrusting me to lead Sabah PKR.

“I will do my best to work together with division leaders and the party leadership in Sabah,” she said in a statement.

Liew, who is also deputy Chief Minister, has been the chairman for Sabah PKR since 2016.

She is also Sabah Pakatan Harapan chairman and Kota Kinabalu PKR division chief.

Other state chiefs are Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak (Perak), Aminuddin Harun (Negeri Sembilan), Datuk Johari Abdul (Kedah), Zahir Hassan (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur) and Halim Bachik (Melaka).
