Unofficial: Umno sees two new faces: Wan Rosdy, Johari elected VP

KUALA LUMPUR: Two new faces have been elected as Umno vice-presidents.

In a tweet, Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and Federal Territories Umno liaison chairman Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani secured two out of the three vice-president spots.

According to the unofficial results shared by Ahmad, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin also successfully defended his position as vice-president.

For the permanent chairman position, Tan Sri Badruddin Amiruldin managed to retain his position while Datuk Seri Abdul Fattah Abdullah was elected as permanent deputy chairman.

For the Umno Supreme Council posts, among the unofficial winners include Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin, Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, Datuk Azian Osman, Datuk Seri Shahaniza Shamsuddin and Datuk Dr Shaik Hussein Mydin.

The other names are Datuk Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii, Datuk Seri Dr Md Alwi Che Ahmad, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad, Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin, Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan, Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi, Datuk Johan Abdul Aziz, Isham Jalil , Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Said, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Datuk Lokman Noor Adam, Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman, Datuk Suraya Yaacob, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.

However, Ahmad said there may be last minute changes for the Umno Supreme Council posts as results in several other divisions are yet to be finalised.
