TO say the market is rather quiet when it comes to luxury properties is an understatement especially when more than 1,500 people turned up at the recent showcase of Dalia Residences’ semidetached and zero-lot bungalows in Tropicana Aman. But what counts for developer Tropicana Corp Bhd is how many of those numbers translate into sales.
Dalia Residences is the fourth landed residential phase of Tropicana Aman. It comprises 166 units of two-storey semi-detached houses, 36 units of two-storey zero-lot bungalows and five units of two-storey bungalows.
Tropicana managing director (marketing and sales) Ung Lay Ting said the company is confident of positive take-up for Dalia Residences due to its forward-thinking houses which are fitted with 3S automated home features (smart, secure and sustainable technology for connected living).
“We understand that security is one of the biggest concerns. With that in mind, every house will be equipped with a smart home security system and nestled within a gated and guarded community to ensure peace of mind for the residents.
To further enhance the safety of residents, 24-hour security patrolling, perimeter boundary fencing equipped with CCTV and visitor management system will be put in place,” she said.
Ung said the first two landed phases, Arahsia and Bayan Residences, were fully sold and handed over to homeowners.
The third phase, Cheria Residences, has recorded more than 90 per cent take-up.
Tropicana has also launched Aman 1 under the Tropicana Urban Homes collection, that offers 766 units of three-bedroom apartments with built-up areas of 870 and 1,000 sq ft.
Ung said the development has drawn interest from first-time house buyers and young families.
Dalia Residences, which is due for completion in the third quarter of 2020, features the 3S automated home system which enables owners to control lighting, air-conditioning and security from a central application which can be paired to smartphones and tablets.
The system features safeguards such as digital door lock, intrusion alert, magnetic sensors, vibration sensors, remote access control, door camera, outdoor cameras, gate camera and panic button.
