KUALA LUMPUR: Azizulhasni Awang was in exceptional form as he won the keirin silver at the World Cup Series in London on Saturday.
The former world champion finished behind winner Matthijs Buchli of the Netherlands while another Dutchman Theo Bos of BEAT Cycling Club took third at the Lee Valley Velo Park Velodrome.
"It is a mark of improvement in terms of performance. I won bronze in the Berlin leg and today I finished second.
"It shows that I am on the right path in my mission to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics," said Azizulhasni on his Instagram account.
He is one of Malaysia's hopes for a gold in Tokyo.
