Top French cycling coach, Terryn, to work in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Former France team head coach, Herman Terryn, has been appointed by the Malaysia National Cycling Federation (MNCF) for its new backup team.

Terryn is set to start work next month.

MNCF's acting deputy president, Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill, said the National Sports Council has agreed to Terryn's appointment.

Terryn is known for producing France's 2022 sprint world champion, Mathilde Gros.

"He will bring a new chapter to the national back-up team. Terryn's vast experience as the France team's head coach will be beneficial to our riders," said Amarjit.
