Cyclist Nur Aiman wins National Road title

KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu Cycling Team's (TSG) Nur Aiman Rosli proved that he was in a class of his own after successfully defending his men's elite time trial gold at the National Road Cycling championship today.

The Johorean crossed the finish line in 55min 0.446 seconds in the gruelling uphill route over 30.3km in Kuala Kubu Baru to claim his fifth consecutive title.

Malaysia Pro Cycling Team A rider Zawawi Azman settled for second place after recording 56:34.436s and Daniel Purwanto of Indonesia, riding for Kelapa Gading Bikers Jakarta, completed the podium with 58:28.089s.

In the men's Under 23-time trial, Kee Zhe Yie added more joy to TSG after defending his individual time trial title with a time of 55:33.411. It was his third title after winning in 2021 and 2023.

Tsen Ren Bao from Kuala Lumpur Cycling Association picked up the silver with 56:09.947s and Syawal Mazlin (MPC) secured third place with 57:48.894s.
