KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor survived a scare as they qualified for the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
Going into the return leg against Kuala Lumpur with a 3-0 lead, the City Boys managed to draw level on aggregate to force extra-time and then penalties.
However, Selangor prevailed by winning 8-7 on penalties to set up a last-four clash against PKNS, who edged Perak 4-3 on aggregate.
Zaquan Adha Abd Radzak scored KL's opening goal in the 15th minute before Paulo Josue added a second just before half-time.
Syazwan Andik scored KL's third goal in the 54th minute.
In the penalty shootout, Firdaus Faudzi missed from the spot to hand Selangor the win.
