Ilso may file a complaint against Penang to Fifa

KUALA LUMPUR: Danish striker Ken Ilso has warned Penang that he will drag the Premier League club to Fifa if they do not settle his wages.

The 31-year-old claimed that Penang have not paid him for three months.

He has since left the club.

“I will take my case to Fifa through the Denmark FA if the FA of Penang (FAP) do not pay my salary soon,” warned Ilso.

“FAP did not pay me for three months starting from February. Based on rules, a player can terminate his contract with the club if he is not paid for three months.

“I did send FAP two reminders before I left concerning my salary but they did not respond. I left after that."

Nigerian Ugo Ukah, South Korean Kang Seung Jo and Gambian Sanna Nyassi are the other foreigners at the club.

On whether he is looking for a new club, Ilso said: “I am still in Kuala Lumpur and hopefully I can get a new club before the ongoing transfer window ends on June 10.

“If I do not get a club, I will try my luck outside the country,” Ilso added.
