Penang's Vitor denies Terengganu victory

KUALA LUMPUR: Rafael Vitor's stoppage time goal earned Penang a 1-1 draw against Terengganu in today's Super League match at the City Stadium.

Terengganu scored first through Syahmi Zamri in the 66th minute, and the team thought three points would be in the bag - a perfect tonic for Friday's Malaysia Cup final against Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT).

However, Penang were awarded a penalty six minutes into stoppage time, and Rafael made no mistakes from the spot.

In Ipoh, Park Tae Su's 85th-minute goal earned Sabah a 1-0 win over Perak.

Meanwhile, JDT recorded their 24th league win with a 2-0 victory over Sri Pahang in Kuantan.

Heberty Fernandes (sixth minute) and Bergson da Silva (42nd) scored for JDT.
