PETALING JAYA: After photos and videos of Selangor midfielder Nurridzuan Abu Hassan and captain Amri Yahyah doing the “flip off” to the Perak team on social media, the FA of Malaysia (FAM) said that they will investigate the matter.
FAM secretary general Stuart Ramalingam said earlier today (Saturday) that they have not read the match commissioner’s report yet, but their legal department will take a closer look at the footage of the ill-tempered Selangor-Perak Super League match that ended in a 1-1 draw at Shah Alam Stadium last night (Friday).
“We are aware of both the incidents and we will take the necessary action after investigations have been completed,” he said.
Stuart said Nurridzuan and Amri may face disciplinary action (for making obscene gestures), and they could be fined or banned if found guilty.
