Kedah braces for cold weather in Seoul

ALOR STAR: Cold weather in South Korea could spell trouble for Kedah when they play FC Seoul in Tuesday's AFC Champions League (ACL) qualifier at the Seoul Stadium.

With temperatures expected to go as low as two degrees Celsius on Tuesday, Kedah forward Zaquan Adha Radzak said it will be a challenge, but Kedah have no choice but to brave it in the hope of sealing a spot in the ACL group stage.

"I have played in cold weather before, and it is not easy. It affects a player in many aspects.

"For us, it will be a challenge, but we need to find a way to overcome the weather in Seoul."

Zaquan also advised his teammates to keep themselves hydrated in the South Korean capital.

Seoul, who drew 1-1 with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in a friendly recently, is led by former Arsenal forward Park Chu-young.

The club finished third in last season's K League 1.
