Lee Tuck eyes M-League return after real estate success

KUALA TERENGGANU: Naturalised player Lee Tuck could return to Malaysia from England and don Terengganu colours once again in the upcoming M-League season.

The midfielder, who has also played for Harimau Malaya, said he is willing to return to his former club if the right offer comes his way.

Lee Tuck has fond memories with the club as his daughters, Ruby Sofia and Sienna Mae, were born in Kuala Terengganu.

His wife, Georgia Madelela, 34, also enjoyed her stay in Terengganu between 2018-2020 and 2022.

The 36-year-old last played in the M-League with Kedah last year but left for England to focus on his real estate career midway through the season.

The Englishman has found success in this new venture, with his company being a finallist for the Best Real Estate Investor Award in the United Kingdom last year.

"Currently, I am not playing for any club. Terengganu are a great club, and I have many fond memories," said Lee Tuck, fondly known as the 'Rooney of Terengganu.'

"My daughters were born in Kuala Terengganu, so it's a very special place for our family. Thus, I am ready to wear the Terengganu jersey if there is an offer from the team.

"However, so far, I have not been contacted by the Terengganu management. We are happy to settle in Terengganu.

"However, it depends on my football career," said Lee Tuck, who is also active in extreme sports.

He surprised everyone by winning the 2023 Velites Hyrox Barcelona Championship, an extreme sports event.

"It is a way to keep myself fit. Competing in Barcelona was enjoyable," he added.
