Fifa gives RM294,840 to 18 M-League players

KUALA LUMPUR: The Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) has announced that 18 Malaysian players, including those from Terengganu City, will receive US$70,2000 (RM294,840) from Fifa.

The money is from the Fifa fund to help players who have not received their salaries from their clubs that have have gone defunct.

The PFAM admitted that the Fifa financial aid may not be enough to cover the total salaries owed, but hopes that it will ease the burden of the affected players.
