BUKIT JALIL: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) are still in the running for the Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) Premier Division crown following a 6-0 win over TNB Thunderbolts at the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Nik Aiman Nik Rozemi was the toast for TNB with a hat-trick in the 39th, 54th and 59th minutes while Syed Mohd Syafiq Syed Cholan (second minute), Syarman Mat Tee (eighth) and Akhimullah Anuar Esook (40th) completed the rout.
With the win, TNB have collected 16 points with two rounds left to play.
“I am delighted as it is not everyday that you get a shot at scoring a hat-trick for your team,” said Aiman.
“Today’s win will definitely give us the motivation for our final two matches against Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club (KLHC) and Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL).
"I believe we still have a chance of winning the league.”
