PETALING JAYA: Twenty-six teams from various media organisations took part in the inaugural 2019 MBSB-Media Bowling Tournament at Wangsa Bowl, One Utama Shopping Centre, here, recently.
The tournament, jointly organised with the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), was aimed at strengthening and improving MBSB Bank's ties with the media.
Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang also attended the event.
TV3 (Buletin Utama) emerged champion at the friendly tournament and went home with RM1,500.
RTM Endgames (Selamat Pagi Malaysia) finished second with RM1,200 cash prize and Bernama (Boleh Strike) claimed third spot with RM1,000.
The New Straits Times (Bowler Jer) and News NTV7 (Magnificent 7) secured fourth and fifth placing respectively.
MBSB Bank Strategic Communications head Zuhaznim Izzuddin handed over the prizes to the winners.
