KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu Hockey Team (THT) survived a scare before edging TNB Thunderbolts 3-2 in a men's Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) match in Bukit Jalil today.
Playing at the National Hockey Stadium, TNB Thunderbolts took a 2-0 lead at half-time, and THT looked like they were heading towards trouble.
Syawal Abd Razak and Shafiq Ikhmal (both in the 30th minute) netted the goals for Thunderbolts.
However, THT bounced back courtesy of goals from Faizal Saari (42nd and 53rd) and Arif Syafie Ishak (53rd).
In another match, Nurinsafi Sporting, who were hammered 8-0 by Maybank on Friday, suffered another defeat today, losing 2-1 to UiTM HA.
UiTM scored through Rashid Baharom (18th) and Faridzul Afiq (51st) while Syamil Azim replied for Nurinsafi (27th).
