Bullets lift second Super Rugby title

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Muamalat Bullets emerged as Corporate Super Rugby champions for the second time in a row after defeating Persatuan Perkhidmatan Tadbir dan Diplomatik (PPTD) Patriots 21-9 at UM Arena, Universiti Malaya, on Saturday.

The Patriots opened the scoring through a penalty kick from 50 meters, which was completed by national flyhalf Nazreen Fitri, before the Bullets got the first try via Amirul Mukminin.

Nazreen doubled the points for the Patriots through two solid penalty kicks, but the efforts were denied by the Bullets through two tries by national players, Azwan Zuwairi and Sofian Kamil, followed by a perfect conversion by Faris Pead and Amirul Aqil.

The Bullets earned RM15,000 for their efforts, while the Patriots received RM10,000.

The victory saw the Bullets lift the title for the second time after their 2022 triumph.
