Meanwhile a 60-year-old jeepney driver was injured after being shot by an unidentified suspect during a road rage incident in Las Piñas city on Sunday.

City police chief Colonel Jaime Santos said the driver, identified as Celso Sabater, remains in critical condition in the hospital.

Investigations revealed Sabater was in his jeep at an open parking lot in Las Piñas when he was confronted by a motorist who was not happy with the driver's behaviour.

A heated altercation ensued until the suspect punched Sabater. When the victim tried to get out of his vehicle, the suspect fired at Sabater before fleeing on a motorcycle.
