Russian woman 'completely eaten alive' by her own pigs

A RUSSIAN farmer who was in the midst of feeding her pigs is believed to have suffered an epileptic seizure, which caused her to fall into her pig pen.

Her ravenous swine, whose appetites were already whetted by the slop they were being given, proceeded to feast on their 56-year-old owner, News.com.au reported.

According to local media reports, the animals “completely ate the woman’s face, shoulders and ears”.

She died of severe blood loss.

The woman’s husband, the only other person on the farm, had felt unwell that evening and had gone to bed early. He only noticed his wife’s absence the next morning and discovered her body shortly after.

The incident which occurred in a village in Malopuginsky, Udmurtia, Russia last week has ‘shocked’ local authorities, who said they had never encountered such a case.
