Noise from billboard annoys residents

Residents in Bukit Bandaraya are having sleepless nights over a digital billboard installed on the rooftop of a building in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Bukit Bandaraya Residents’ Association adviser Datuk Mumtaz Ali said the billboard emitted noise, causing residents to lose rest and sleep.

“Some of the residents have complained that the noise is unbearable. The billboard should not have been installed there.

“Furthermore, the billboard is too bright and distracts not only residents but also motorists.

“We hope the Kuala Lumpur City Hall will take swift action to remove the billboard.”
