KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the ninth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF9), Rapid KL is introducing a special edition MyRapid Touch ‘n Go (MyRapid TnG) card.
The card is jointly designed with Think City, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad and partner of Rapid KL in the Arts on the Move initiative.
It comes with a sleeve bearing the official design of WUF9.
Also included is a mini map to navigate to heritage sites, restaurants and places of interest near LRT stations in the city centre.
“Some 25,000 people, including foreign visitors, are expected to attend the forum, with its main venue at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and many side events nearby, including Medan Pasar.
“Visitors and participants can be connected to these venues by LRT and MRT services at the Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek and KLCC stations.
“We are introducing this special edition card in support of WUF9, which promotes sustainable living globally and in which efficient public transport is one of the key components,” said Rapid KL.
The card is offered at RM30 each, with a stored value of RM22.
The public can buy it at the WUF9 merchandise store at Hall 4 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, as well as KL Sentral, KLCC, Masjid Jamek, and Pasar Seni LRT and MRT stations.
Cardholders will enjoy special fares within seven days of the card being activated.
