KUALA LUMPUR: Ho Wah Genting Bhd is introducing Seiyong Motor's first all-electric vehicle the Seiyong S1 into Malaysia.
First launched in December 2019, the Seiyong S1, dubbed as Little Bee, is a smart electric vehicle capable of reaching 302 kilometre in one charge and cost efficient in recharging its power, needing only 40 minutes to reach full capacity.
Ho Wah chief executive officer Datuk Aaron Lim said the electric vehicle industry is still a growing industry and the group firmly believe the Seiyong S1 is able to push the electric vehicle industry in Malaysia into a brighter future.
"The innovative development strategy of Seiyong Motor has demonstrated that it has a strong market expansion plan and its core competitiveness is one of their factors to success.
"In the next three to five years, we believe Seiyong Motor will eventually be a key player in the global electric vehicle industry with Seiyong S1," he said in a statement today.
The Seiyong S1 lasting battery life offers users safe driving experience while not neglecting performance as it can reach a top speed of more than 110km per hour.
With its slick exterior design and comfortable interior with a user friendly heads-up display, it is priced reasonably at 70,000 to 90,000 Chinese Yuan or RM44,256 to RM56,900.
The Seiyong S1 is mainly suitable for all the consumer groups from housewives, college students to corporate executives and white-collar workers.
The Seiyong S1 is produced by Seiyong Motor Co Ltd which was incorporated in Beijing in 2017 with a registered capital of 262.4 million yuan.
