KUALA LUMPUR: Crown Prince of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj is the first royal patron for Invest Selangor Bhd (ISB).
In a statement, ISB noted the appointment was in line with Invest Selangor's aim to elevate the profile of Selangor at the international level.
"This is a great recognition and the highest support for Invest Selangor to increase efforts in attracting more quality local and international investments and establish Selangor as a state that can offer high paying job opportunities.
"The involvement of His Highness Crown Prince is also in line with the vision to improve Selangor's economy in a sustainable way in terms of resources and social development," he added.
Invest Selangor chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris said under the crown prince's patronage, the company is confident it would accelerate and strengthen Invest Selangor's aspirations to promote the state as the best investment destination in Southeast Asia.
