ARS to turn transportation hub at KLIA's Terminal 2 into region's most advanced

KUALA LUMPUR: Asia Success Resources Sdn Bhd (ARS) wants to turn Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) transportation hub into Southeast Asia's most advanced smart AI transportation hub.

This is not only to improve operational efficiency but also ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for passengers.

The hub has been upgraded from Grade B to Grade A, aligning with the stringent standards set by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD).

ARS chief executive officer Aaron Chuah said with an investment of about RM3.5 million, the company has significantly upgraded Terminal 2 transportation hub's facilities.

"For instance, to enhance operational efficiency and elevate passengers' experience, we have implemented a Centralised Ticketing System, Smart System, and AI-powered Terminal Operating System.

"These advanced systems allow us to stay resilient and technologically competitive," he said in statement.

According to ARS, the passengers who visit the transportation hub's website will be greeted in multilingual languages, and can expect more languages such as Japanese, Arabic and Hindu.

The company said in providing passengers with a convenient and hassle-free payment experience, the hub will also be implementing a cashless system at the bus station from April 15.

The system will accept all forms of e- wallet and cards, it added.

The launch of the new revamped transportation hub coincides with the launching of the Relax, Reunite & Be Rewarded campaign.

The campaign aims to enhance the shopping experience for travellers and reward their loyalty, while the hub sets new standards in efficiency, safety and passenger experience.
