(SHOWBIZ) Diana Danielle denies rumours of marriage trouble

WHEN young actress Diana Danielle, did not follow her husband actor-director Farid Kamil and children to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri in Jitra, Kedah, that alone has set tongues wagging.

Rumours began to spread like wild fire with some people speculating that Diana and Farid are facing marital problems.

“The rumours are not true. I had my own reason for spending Hari Raya in Kuala Lumpur,” said the 25-year-old actress at the Racing School Graduation Ceremony of Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) at Sepang International Circuit recently.

“At the time, my mother was recovering from dengue.

“She was just discharged from hospital and since she was weak, I as her daughter had the duty
to take good care of her,” she said.

“Farid and I did not view the inability to celebrate Hari Raya together as a problem at all.

“We understood the need for me to stay behind.

“He was fine and supported my decision to do so,” said the mother of two who found such malicious rumours far from amusing.

As proof that their marriage is intact, Farid appeared at the press event carrying their 2-year-old daughter, Nur Aurora, in his arms, and Muhammad, 4, by his side.

The couple, who were also seen hugging each other affectionately, posed for the cameras before Farid took leave, leaving behind the children with his mother-in-law, Norsiah Ramli.

Diana was hopeful that her explanation on the rumours would clear the air once and for all.

“I have no intention of paying much attention to gossips created by irresponsible individuals.

“I have more important things to focus on,” she said.

Diana is one of the celebrities roped in as ambassadors for TGR Racing Festival.

Others include Fattah Amin and Janna Nick.

TGR Racing Festival will be held next month in Batu Kawan, Penang, Johor Baru, Johor, and Serdang, Selangor.
