KUALA LUMPUR: It was a night to remember for fans of one of the nation's top singer, Datuk Sheila Majid.
She put on an electrifying show at her concert, dubbed Sheila Majid The Concert Kuala Lumpur 2017 at Stadium Negara here last night.
Kicking off the three-hour plus show, the 52-year-old singer pleased fans with her excellent showmanship and incredible vocals.
Dressed in a cream coloured flowy dress, Sheila opened her show with Pengemis Muda.
"Hello, KL! It's good to be home. Thank you all for coming out here tonight," said Sheila, before performing her next evergreen hit Di Dalam Emosi Ini.
The sold-out concert also saw a massive turnout from fans; young and old. Some even flew in from Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.
The crowd went into a frenzy when Sheila launched into an eclectic of songs including Embun, Ku Mohon and Melukis Dunia.
In Lagenda, one of Sheila's most well-known songs, fans launched a massive sing-along, leaving the singer all teary-eyed. By the end of the song, fans gave her a standing ovation.
Also spotted at the concert were singers Anuar Zain, Hunny Madu, actor-comedian Afdlin Shauki and Indonesian singer Afgan.
The multiple award-winning singer performed over 30 songs including some of her well-known hits such as Cinta Jangan Kau Pergi, Boneka and Sinaran.
The last time Sheila performed at a concert this scale was in 1991 for her Legenda concert.
