KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of Fattah Amin were upset and confused when their popular actor didn’t appear on the TV show Meletop which was aired live in front of studio audience.
The production later took to the show’s official Instagram account to seek an apology from viewers on the actor’s last minute no-show.
The post stated that Fattah had to leave due to unforeseen circumstances, but the production promised to make it up by inviting Fattah and his new bride, popular actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin to be on the show soon.
The 27-year-old actor was already at the studio set and was photographed backstage by an individual identified as only Aqoimran.
He however left without appearing on the show.
The show, aired live every Tuesday at 9pm on Astro Ria and Ria HD (channels 104 and 123), is hosted by popular hosts Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, who was previously romantically-linked to him, and Nabil Ahmad.
Following the incident, Neelofa’s manager shared an Instastory which insinuated that “someone” was being unprofessional when that person was already at set but left soon after, without appearing on the show as scheduled.
It didn’t take long before Netizens started to echo the sentiment, bashing Fattah for not having the guts to face up to his ex, Neelofa.
Neelofa, however, did not make any statement regarding the matter.
