KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Datin Diana Danielle denies the allegation that her husband Datuk Farid Kamil Zahari is distressed because he has not been allowed to see his two children.
In an exclusive interview with The New Straits Times today, Diana, 26, said: “Since I have to go to work, I left my children under my mother’s care.
“My mother’s house is only one floor below from our unit, in the same condominium building. He could have easily gone to see the kids if he had wanted to,” she said.
Diana also added that she had never left any instruction to not allow Farid from seeing the kids.
Yesterday, Farid was arrested by the police for slapping a policeman and kicking another individual at the Kota Damansara traffic police counter.
Earlier today at the Petaling Jaya court complex, Farid's brother Fadzil Zahari claimed that family problem has taken a toll on his brother's mental health.
“He told me three days ago that he had not seen his children for several days," he said.
Fadzil said he tried to contact Diana, but it had been futile.
