KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor and director Datuk Farid Kamil Zahari appeared on a live TV show for the first time, last night since his arrest on Jan 11.
The 36-year-old artiste was a guest on Astro Ria’s MeleTOP to promote TV drama series Lafazkan Kalimah Cintamu which he stars in.
According to Astro Gempak, Farid said he was grateful that he could carry on with his life as usual.
“I could still come out and be a guest on a TV show and I am thankful for that. My case is still on, but everything (personal life) is going on well now,” he said.
When interviewed on the show by guest hosts, Datuk Awie and Erra Fazira, Farid thanked his fans for the moral support they had shown him throughout the ordeal.
“It was one experience I cannot forget. It also provided me an opportunity to find my true self again,” said the father-of-two.
Lafazkan Kalimah Cintamu which premiered last month, is still airing on Astro Ria. It stars Nelydia Senrose, Adriana Adnan, Azri Iskandar and Adibah Noor.
