KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Nazim Othman has come out to declare that he and his wife, actress Bella Dally, are no longer a married couple.
Without revealing the actual date of the divorce, Nazim broke the unfortunate news to the public via his Instagram account and wrote that their troubled marriage could not be salvaged any longer.
"With much sadness and heaviness in my heart, I announce, after a mutual decision was made, that my marriage to Bella has come to an end.
"Bella and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have prayed for us and showered us with positivity all this while," he wrote.
The 34-year-old Monalisa drama series actor however did not disclose the cause of their seperation.
He added: "Verily all good things come from God. And God knows everything and what is best. To err is human, to forgive divine."
Bella, 27, who married Nazim on September 10 in 2016, also shared the same news on her Instagram account and wrote that she had received many queries, including from family members, on the status of her marriage.
"To cut a long story short, our marriage was on the rocks. We had tried our best to save it but it was an unsuccessful endeavour. We then came to the conclusion together that the best thing to do was to offcially end it with a divorce," she wrote.
