#Showbiz: John Cena wants to be BTS' bodyguard

KUALA LUMPUR: As chaos unfolds each time fans try to catch a glimpse of K-pop group BTS, one man has volunteered to step up their security. He is no ordinary man, he is American wrestler John Cena.

The revelation came from the wrestler-turned-actor who is known to be a huge fan of BTS, after some fans jokingly turned to him for help following the chaos that went down upon BTS’ arrival in South Korea recently.

“We need John Cena and his gang to punch those pitches if they crossed the line at the airport,” one tweeted.

It was then Cena offered his services and tweeted: “I’ve had a little trouble keeping up lately but does @BTS_twt @bts_bighit need a bodyguard? Crazy because I’ve been touring with them for years, they just can’t see me. #GotYourSix”

Fans all around were amused by the response from Cena, who is by the way, also a member of A.R.M.Y (BTS’ fandom name).

“I fully support this idea,” a fan replied.

While another wrote: “You must’ve heard us John! BTS really needs you! They have been mobbed from left to right. It’s out of control! Please go and slap those crazy people out of their way. You are the best.”
