#Showbiz: US marching band performs epic version of BTS' 'Idol'

KUALA LUMPUR: One can never have too much of BTS which has seen its fan base continue to grow all over the world.

The latest “idol worship” came from the Diamond Marching Band of Temple University in Philadelphia, US.

According to Soompi, the Temple Bands’ Twitter account had a couple of entries today that featured the marching band performing an instrumental rendition of BTS’ big hit, Idol.

Performed during the University’s annual Homecoming event, the exciting version also had the crowd dancing along to the tune.

In addition to that, the marching band even worked in an impressive formation featuring the logo of the seven-member K-Pop supergroup.

At one point during the marching band’s performance, the members put down their instruments and shouted out: “You can’t stop me loving myself!”

They then continued by taking on the South Korean music outfit’s #IdolChallenge by dancing, in perfect synchronisation, to the choreography that is featured in the song’s music video during the chorus section.

A fan later posted a video of the thrilling performance on Twitter with the caption: “Wow! This is amazing, did I hear it right, they cheered you can’t stop me loving myself?”

Naturally, Temple Bands replied via Twitter with a resounding: “Yes, you did hear that right.”
