#Showbiz: BTS first K-Pop act to break 1bil streams on Apple Music

KUALA LUMPUR: Once again, the boys of BTS have broken yet another record, proving that they are currently the ultimate vanguard of K-Pop music.

On top of the various records they have already set, the seven-member unit has now become the first K-Pop group to break 1 billion streams on Apple Music.

According to a news report by Yon Hap news agency, BTS’ agency, Big Hit Entertainment said that the streaming numbers were distributed across the world, in regions such as the United States, Japan, Europe, South Korea, Canada, Australia and Southeast Asia.

The boys who are currently busy with their Love Yourself tour, are scheduled to hold concerts in Japan later this month.

Made up of V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM and J-Hope, the boys are known for their hits like Fake Love, and DNA.
