#Showbiz: 3 powerhouse vocalists to share stage for concert next year

KUALA LUMPUR: When Edd Razhe, the producer and managing director of Edd Razhe Entertainment proposed to singers Misha Omar, Siti Sarah Raissuddin and Noryn Aziz to come together for a concert, all three reacted differently.

While Noryn couldn’t contain her excitement to the extent of throwing her napkin in the air, Misha burst into tears, while Siti Sarah just froze.

The trio revealed this today at a press conference to announce the three singers who will be performing at the Soul Sisters Concert slated for next year at Istana Budaya.

“Edd invited us for lunch to pop the question. We had no idea the lunch came with a bonus treat,” said Noryn, 41, who told reporters at the event held at Acme Bar & Coffee, Pavilion Elite here today.

Misha, 36, added: “It’s been my dream to share the stage with my friends. So when he popped the question, I could not contain myself. I just cried... it’s a dream come true.”

Siti Sarah, 34, was just speechless. “I couldn’t find the appropriate response to it at the time. I figured if I said something wrong, I might jinx it,” she said, adding that she and Misha had always talked about having a showcase together.

All three expressed their excitement and cannot wait to start planning for their respective music repertoire.

Soul Sisters Concert will be staged at Panggung Sari, Istana Budaya on April 5 and 6 next year. Tickets, priced from RM155 to RM755, are available at www.airasiaredtix.com beginning tomorrow.
