KUALA LUMPUR: Munafik 2’s producer Datuk Yusof Haslam has promised a substantial amount for its bonus payout to its cast and crew.
The Islamic horror which made a phenomenal success locally as well as in Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei.
Munafik 2 was reported to have cashed in more than RM48 million in total.
Yusof who owns Skop Productions Sdn Bhd knows full well that the cast and crew of the sequel, directed by his son Syamsul Yusof, had put in a lot of hard work into the film.
“Don’t worry, I will make sure the bonus is distributed accordingly and worthy of each one’s effort in making Munafik 2 a huge success. It will be substantial,” he said in a news report today.
“All I can say is that the amount this time around will be bigger than before,” he said.
“I believe that by sharing ‘rezeki’ with everyone, hopefully we will be blessed with a more bountiful success in future,” said Yusof who also plans to donate a portion to the recent earthquake victims in Sulawesi and Lombok, Indonesia, as well as orphans and mosques here.
