KUALA LUMPUR: A recent batch of photos of BigBang member G-Dragon has taken the social media by storm.
Fans of the 30-year-old K-Pop star whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, are thrilled to see how he looks, now that he is out of the entertainment radar for close to nine months.
For the uninitiated, G-Dragon is currently serving the two-year mandatory military service.
The photos were uploaded onto social media by the owner of a restaurant which G-Dragon had gone to dine at recently.
And it didn’t take long for the photos to go viral.
Unlike his colourful stage persona, the star was photographed wearing casual clothes complete with a cap.
But what surprised his fans was how healthier he looked now with fuller cheeks, which seems to suggest that G-Dragon must be coping with military life really well.
Prior to the enlistment, the popular singer-songwriter who was too caught up with his work in showbiz was as thin as a rake, with slimmer face and a prominent jawline.

The artiste is expected to complete his military service on Nov 26 next year.
