#Showbiz: Haters are just jealous of me, says Nabila Huda

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nabila Huda Suhaimi’s recent Instagram photo showing her wearing what looked like an undergarment, has set tongues wagging.

Garnering lots of “attacks” from Netizens, the Ola Bola The Musical actress is however unperturbed by her haters and reasoned that they are “just jealous” of her success.

“I’m not giving any reason for anyone to hate me. They create their own little dramas out of jealousy. If you don’t like me yet still watch everything I do, then you're a fan!” she said in an Instagram post yesterday.

In another post which showed her having a cool dip beside a waterfall, Nabila added: “Dear haters, I have so much more for you to be mad at, so just be patient.”

Her “in bed” photo had several Netizens commenting it as “indecent” and even told her to “bertaubat” (repent) and remove the photo from social media, while others expressed support for her, telling naysayers to mind their own business.

Some responded to Nabila’s latest posts with most of them saluting her for being honest.

“More power to you, Abil. Jealousy is all around us, but we can fend it off if we want to,” said Akila.

“Relax lah haters. She is not a hypocrite like you. She is human like all of us, so let her post or wear what she wants,” said Joven.

“Salute Abil! You’re the best,” said Hazel.

Nabila is currently playing multiple characters in Ola Bola The Musical which is staged at Istana Budaya here.

Produced by Enfiniti Productions, the musical from Feb 18 to Sunday is about Harimau Malaya’s historic match against South Korea in 1980 to qualify for the Moscow Olympics.

It also stars Brian Chan, Abimanyu Masilamani, Luqman Hafidz, Hafeez Mikail, Iedil Putra Alaudin, Tony Eusoff, Altimet and Douglas Lim.
