#Showbiz: It's like I'm the one doing the cheating' - Nabila Huda

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nabila Huda is upset with a statement from a production company that alleged it had already settled her claims for the telemovie, Pelangi Yang Hilang, in which she starred in.

In a recent Instagram Story, the 40-year-old artiste denied receiving the payment since the production company had yet to discuss any settlement with her.

"Don't try to deceive the public with your 'playsafe' statement, Wiranusa Corporation. You should be grateful that I have made everything halal and 'moved on'. But you just wanted to answer, without feeling any guilt.

"It's like I'm the one who cheated and discredited this company. When has your side discussed the matter with me, and then you go and say that an agreement could not be reached?

"Still haven't paid yet, so what agreement is that? The query message also came from me, you know. It's been a month since filming concluded and then only I'm asking about the status of my 'claims' payment, so is that not enough of a 'relaxed' period?

"Don't make problems for us. After all that, you say you want to open a space for me to come and meet you to clarify this issue?

What's the deal? It's you who should be aware because you have a debt that has not yet been paid.

"How do you live every day knowing that you still owe people? Don't you feel guilty?" she wrote in the lengthy post.

Nabila added that the company should not try to twist the story and pretend to be the victim, but rather learn to manage things better.

"I've been around longer than your company. So, don't try to twist things around. For your information, I'm not even bothered about the claims money anymore.

"You can just donate it to those in need. Meanwhile, in this month of Ramadan, do your 'research', and learn some etiquette and 'basic practice' in production.

"God willing, your affairs will be smooth for you to continue producing better works in the future comparable to other great productions," she said.

Before this, Nabila had released a statement about a production company that failed to pay the 'claims' she made for her ongoing commitment during the entire making of Pelangi Yang Hilang.

Aside from Nabila, the Zul Huzaimy-directed telemovie, which is based on a true story, also stars Luqman Junaidi, Danish Hazriq, and Asheeqa Maleeyka.
