KUALA LUMPUR: Having gone through a divorce herself 12 years ago, singer Nourul Depp expressed sadness over fellow artistes Vanidah Imran and Rashidi Ishak’s divorce news.
In an Instagram posting today, the 41-year-old Nourul wrote: “When I hear news of couples divorcing, it always upsets me, as I could totally empathise, having gone through it once myself. It’s never easy on either party, the men or the women.)
“To my beloved Kak Vanidah and Abang Shidi, hopefully God will grant you peace. Things happen for a reason. May He also grant you both health and success. Love you both,” she wrote.
Nourul also reminded others not to point fingers on who had caused the marriage to fail or take sides.
Yesterday, actor Rashidi, 45, took to Instagram to disclose the truth about his marital status, after keeping mum on it for seven months.
Meanwhile, Nourul, now the wife of Frenchman Eric Daniel Depp, was married to popular singer-composer Mohd Faizal Maas a.k.a. Ajai for 10 years before they divorced in 2007.
