KUALA LUMPUR: Hot K-Pop act BlackPink continues to make its presence felt in America after it was revealed that the girl group would be performing on another popular talk show there.
After making successful appearances on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and Good Day America last February, the sensational quartet will be charming viewers in an upcoming episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden.
According to Koreaboo, BlackPink will be featured on the popular American late-night talk show on April 18.
The group is also expected to talk about its new EP, Kill This Love, as well as its Coachella performance and tour in the US on the show, which is filmed in Los Angeles.
Aside from BlackPink, the episode will also feature British-American actor Andrew Garfield and American actress Lake Bell.
This will make the popular South Korean music outfit the second K-Pop act to guest on the Late Late Show With James Corden, following BTS’ appearance in 2017.
Meanwhile, Koreaboo also reported that a member of BlackPink had recently began trending on Weibo for a pretty fluffy reason.
Apparently, Lisa had started to trend at the No. 1 spot on the Chinese social media platform and it was all due to the idol combing her hair.
The topic, “Lisa carries along a comb to comb her bangs”, came about late last week and has funnily enough taken over Weibo. Fans, or Blinks, were quick to comment on the light-hearted phenomenon.
One wrote: “Find someone stronger than Lisa’s bangs, girls are so indestructible that they don’t even move.” Another gushed that, “Lisa’s bangs are one of the 8 wonders of the world!”
