KUALA LUMPUR: Ardent fans of Jason Mraz, you don’t have to wait for your rocket to come because the Curbside Prophet singer is coming to Malaysia!
The appropriately-titled Good Vibes Tour kicked off in North America last Summer. The tour then extends its leg to Asia, where Mraz will be performing in Manila, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Bangkok next month.
He will perform in Malaysia on May 13, 8.30pm at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
This will be the third Jason Mraz show on our shores. Previously, the Grammy-award artiste serenaded his Malaysian fans in 2009 and 2012 for his "Tour Is A Four Letter Word" tour.
Mraz says that he is thrilled to return, reconnect and re-experience the joy his Asian fans bring to his shows that makes each and every set feels like an event than a recital.
“I feel a sense of gratitude and enthusiasm unlike anywhere else in the world. The audience participation in Asia is harmonic and supersonic,” he said.
His first taste of mainstream success came in 2002 with his debut album Waiting For My Rocket To Come.
His most memorable hits stole fans’ hearts across the world for their honesty, simplicity and positivity which transpires through songs such as The Remedy, You And I Both, I’m Yours, I Won’t Give Up, and most recently, Have It All, taken from his latest album.
The Good Vibes Tour announcement follows the release of Jason Mraz’s sixth studio album KNOW on August 10 2018, becoming his fifth consecutive studio album to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
