#Showbiz: New evidence in accident involving South Korean actress Han Ji-seong surfaces

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have found new evidence on the three-vehicle accident which took the life of South Korean actress Han Ji-seong last Monday.

According to a recent report by YTN, the evidence had been exclusively obtained from the dashcam of a vehicle that was driving in the left lane when the crash occurred near Incheon International Airport in South Korea.

Earlier, it was reported that Han, 28, had stopped her vehicle in the middle lane on a busy expressway for her husband to take a toilet break.

Regarding the illogical spot to stop their vehicle, Han’s husband, whom she married only two months ago claimed: “I had to relieve myself urgently and so we abruptly stopped the car. But I have no idea why she didn’t stop at the kerb instead. I only noticed the accident when I returned.”

However, a new footage seems to contradict his statement to the police.

Earlier, the police had difficulty investigating the case as the footage from the dashcam on Han’s vehicle did not have audio.

Based on this new evidence, Han was already out of the vehicle before her husband ran across the highway, and the accident occurred just 10 seconds from the time he reached the guard rail.

In another news report, from the new-found footage, it’s unlikely for the husband to not notice the crash.

Suspicion is rising on Han’s unfortunate death. An autopsy will be performed soon and its findings will either support or debunk the rumours on the Internet.

Netizens speculate that Han may have been intoxicated or on drugs, leading her to stop in the middle of the road.

Others speculate that the couple had been arguing and stopped the car for some fresh air and to cool down.

Han was a former member of the girl group B.Doll. Her funeral procession will take place tomorrow.
